I make documentaries about people who keep their communities alive when systems fall apart. My work sits close to the ground, following the people who take responsibility even when no one asks them to. I have filmed in Oakland and Nairobi, with projects for PBS Northern California and community media on both sides. I was part of the Emmy award winning Climate California team. I am now at UC Berkeley, focusing on public interest stories that open space for real conversations.
