Concept
This episode looks at how California uses tech in the climate fight and what gets lost when we rely on machines to fix everything. You see electric planes, cleaner transit and nature apps, but you also see real people trying to protect the places they live in. The film moves between those two sides. One is fast and engineered. The other is grounded in land and community.
The episode asks a straight question. Can tech help if we don’t slow down and think about the choices we make. It shows the gap between ideas that sound good on paper and the reality on the ground.
My work on this episode was filming and editing scenes that hold that tension. Simple moments with the land, then fast movement in tech spaces. The goal was to show what climate action looks like when you step away from the big promises and sit with what people actually need.
