Climate California, Episode 10
Humans sped up the pace of nature
2019

Concept

This episode sits in the tension between climate work and politics. It follows people we don’t usually see at the center of climate conversations. Fossil fuel workers. Christians. Conservatives. Groups that are often treated as the opposition.

The film asks a simple question. Is there any space where these groups can agree on climate. You watch leaders who are trying to find that middle ground. Some come from faith spaces. Some come from labor. Some come from right leaning movements. Each is trying to open a door that most people think is closed.

My work on this episode focused on filming and editing moments that show people listening to each other. You see the quiet pauses that happen before someone answers. You see how trust is built or broken. The goal was to show that climate action needs conversations that many of us avoid.
